Thank you to those that joined our webinar in collaboration Vattenfall, where Rob Lilly presented on Vattenfall’s vision for the future, as well as current UK and European projects. He discussed Vattenfall’s approach to working with the supply chain and the value that the supply chain brings to the company’s operations.

Vattenfall is one of Europe’s largest producers of electricity and heat, with over 6 million electricity customers and 2 million heat customers. The company is 100% owned by the Swedish state, with its main markets in Sweden, Germany, Netherlands, Denmark and the UK.

With around 20,000 employees, Vattenfall’s goal is to be free from fossil fuels within one generation by helping customers to power their lives in ever climate smarter ways.

Rob Lilly, de facto Head of Supply Chain, Vattenfall

Rob Lilly has been in the renewables industry since 2002, working for a wind turbine manufacturer, the largest composites supplier to the wind market and three wind energy developers. Rob now specialises in supply chain management and procurement and is responsible for achieving local content targets, including increasing the number of SMEs in the supply chain. Current projects include Norfolk Vanguard, Norfolk Boreas and ScotWind.
