This ‘Power to Hydrogen and Hydrogen to X Workshop’ is organised by the IEA and the Hydrogen TCP.

Timur Gül (Head of the Energy Technology Policy Division, IEA) will explain the importance of PtX in the energy system, then Paul Lucchese (Hydrogen TCP Chair) will introduce the main results and findings from Task 38 and a roundtable will discuss on the experience of collaborating in Task 38 and the potential of PtX.

In the second half of the session José Bermudez (IEA Energy Analyst for Hydrogen and Alternative Fuels) will cover the role of these technologies from IEA’s perspective. Paul Lucchese will introduce the recommendations for future PtX projects from Task 38 Roadmap, and finally José Bermúdez and Marina Holgado will comment on the active and planned strategic activities related to these technologies in the IEA and the Hydrogen TCP.
