AREG is pleased to announce that Fraserburgh Harbour has joined its growing membership community.
With more than 230 members, the Harbour has joined AREG at an exciting time and is looking forward to engaging with fellow members over the coming months.
Pamela Neri, commercial manager at Fraserburgh Harbour said:
“Fraserburgh Harbour is a diverse and busy port. We are supremely located for many ScotWind awarded sites and as the home of Moray East Offshore Wind Farm Ops & Maintenance base, we have significant knowledge and experience to offer. The Harbour also has an ambitious masterplan which would see the port grow in size by around 40%. We are currently developing a robust outline business case for the masterplan and an AREG membership will help us engage with other members as we progress this journey.”
Last week, Fraserburgh Harbour also welcomed Andrew Rodden as its commissioner.
Andrew is energy transition programme director (offshore renewables) at Energy Transition Load Ltd and a master mariner with a wealth of experience both operationally and at director level.
In a LinkedIn post welcoming Andrew to the board, convener Michael Murray said that the appointment “further enhanced the Board’s experience, knowledge and overall, balance”.
