Tender Coordinator Mitchell Cheyne and Marketing Coordinator Tylor Webb named among the region’s rising stars; recognition underscores IKM Testing UK’s commitment to supporting the next generation of professionals.
IKM Testing UK is proud to announce that Mitchell Cheyne (Tender Coordinator) and Tylor Webb (Marketing Coordinator) have been recognised in the Aberdeen Young Professionals (AYP) 30 Under 30 list, celebrating outstanding young talent across the North-east business community.
Barry Summers, Regional Director, IKM Testing UK, said: “Mitchell and Tylor exemplify the ambition and accountability we encourage at IKM. Their recognition is richly deserved and reflects the emphasis we place on giving young professionals meaningful responsibility, structured mentoring and the tools to grow quickly. We’re building long-term capability these awards show that approach is working.”
Both colleagues joined IKM Testing UK early in their careers and have contributed to the company’s commercial momentum and brand visibility. They also reflect the organisation’s wider “Challenge Convention – Inspire Innovation” through the way they approach their roles, taking ownership, thinking differently and driving improvements across service lines. Their recognition demonstrates how IKM’s culture enables young professionals not just to contribute today, but to help shape the future of the energy sector.
Mitchell Cheyne said: “I’m incredibly proud to be named on this year’s AYP 30 under 30 list. Starting out as a junior just four years ago, I never imagined I’d be where I am today. Being entrusted with major projects in the North Sea and overseas has accelerated my growth and deepened my understanding of the industry. IKM has played a huge role in my development, offering opportunities that have expanded my knowledge and experience. I’m truly grateful for their support and the trust they have placed in me. Looking ahead, I’m excited to contribute to the growth of IKM’s new service lines, while continuing to strengthen the established Frame Agreements I’ve helped nurture. The future with IKM looks incredibly bright, and I’m thrilled to be part of it.”
Tylor Webb added: “I feel really grateful to be recognised in this year’s 30 Under 30. My role in marketing has given me the opportunity to explore the energy sector more widely and to learn from specialists across the business. Being involved in telling the story of both our traditional oil and gas services and newer areas like decommissioning and energy transition has given me a much clearer perspective of the challenges and opportunities the industry faces. With so much change underway, it’s important for my generation to build that understanding so we can contribute to progress in the years ahead. I’m very privileged to have the support and opportunities I’ve been given, none of this would have been possible without the backing of my colleagues at IKM!”
