Member News: Alan Smith Appointed as Technical Sales Manager at J+S Subsea

J+S Subsea is delighted to announce the promotion of Alan Smith to the position of Technical Sales Manager, a move that marks an exciting chapter both for Alan and for the business as it continues to grow, innovate, and deliver client-focused solutions in the subsea sector.

Alan joined J+S Subsea ten months ago and has quickly established himself as a key member of the team. With a strong technical foundation and a hands-on approach, Alan has played a vital role in supporting internal operations, project delivery, and client engagements. His in-depth understanding of subsea controls and equipment, coupled with his proactive mindset, has enabled him to contribute to several high-impact projects and collaborate effectively across teams.

In his new role, Alan will take on greater responsibility in client-facing activities, applying his technical knowledge to shape bespoke solutions tailored to the unique needs of both new and existing customers. He will be instrumental in bridging the gap between engineering and commercial teams, ensuring that technical capabilities align with strategic business objectives.
