With just over two weeks remaining until our inaugural AREG Energy Futures Exhibition and Conference at P&J Live, we’re looking forward to what will be an opportunity to reconnect, network and collectively focus on the North-east’s path to net zero and the actions required to reach government targets.
Amid the excitement of the build-up to the event I am pleased to let you know that AREG membership has reached 260 plus organisations across sectors including offshore wind developers, wave, tidal, hydrogen, transport and aviation.
Looking forward to the 15 November, we have an excellent line up of speakers and exhibitors who will provide a catalyst for discussion and debate on issues from across the renewable energy arena.
Themed conference sessions will address some of the key issues and opportunities facing the energy industry, including the role of offshore renewables and hydrogen and how these will contribute to achieving ambitious government net zero targets.
Sessions on the supply chain and skills and training reflect feedback from AREG members, and the wider business community, who we know want assurance from developers that the local supply chain, skills, and training facilities will be recognised and fully utilised during the transition.
Exhibitors will showcase leading technologies and initiatives, available to support the fast pace of change required to reach net zero and achieve a sustainable energy future.
