The next meeting of the UK All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Hydrogen is about ‘How can hydrogen support our energy security?’

This Zoom meeting will discuss the scope and ambition of the Government’s existing policy on hydrogen production and what it further needs, both in terms of investments and policy changes, to maximise hydrogen production and rollout across the economy.

Speakers will include the former Leader of the Green Party Baroness Natalie Bennett; UK Energy Transition Manager at Shell Jo Coleman; and Dan Sadler, Vice President of UK Low Carbon Solutions at Equinor.

The enthusiasm and dedication of the early group that would become AREG was fundamental in us choosing to launch All-Energy in Aberdeen. The first tiny show was held in 2001, and AREG’s Chairman at the time, Jeremy Cresswell, played such an active role that I often describe him in terms such as All-Energy’s ‘midwife’.
