Each year, the Energy Institute Young Professionals Network (EIYPN) host a charity dinner to celebrate the hard work of the committee and fundraise for a worthy cause – this year we have selected to raise awareness and money for the Asthma and Allergy Foundation and are delighted to announce that we have selected the Sandman Signature Hotel & Spa to host our celebrations on the 8th of November 2024.

2024 has been a year like no other for the EIYPN, with record numbers of attendees at our events and inspirational speakers – our annual dinner is no exception! Not only will we be celebrating the EIYPN, but the energy industry as a whole – touching on where we were, the positive changes and innovations that have got us to where we are today and where we are going with the energy transition and the part we play in making the industry better.

With this in mind, we are delighted to announce we will have not one, but two incredible keynote speakers for this event:

  • Steve Rae, Director of Fortitude – Action Beyond Compliance and a leading safety influencer with more than 40 years of experience in the offshore sector and survivor of the Piper Alpha disaster.
  • Neil McCulloch, CEO of Spirit Energy, Operator Co-Chair at Offshore Energies UK and member of the NSTA Energy Transition Steering Group.

Guests can expect an evening of full of food, live music, dancing, and a chance to catch up or network with friends and colleagues. The evening’s programme will commence with a drink reception in the foyer from 18:00 and a 3-course meal seated at 19:00. This event is created for Professionals, not just those who are considering themselves ‘young’! 

This years tickets are at £95 per person, tables will be seated 10-12 persons and so any tickets purchased that are not a full table will be seated at a mixed table. Please contact [email protected] if you are interested in purchasing tickets.

The enthusiasm and dedication of the early group that would become AREG was fundamental in us choosing to launch All-Energy in Aberdeen. The first tiny show was held in 2001, and AREG’s Chairman at the time, Jeremy Cresswell, played such an active role that I often describe him in terms such as All-Energy’s ‘midwife’. All-Energy is now the UK’s largest renewable and low carbon energy exhibition and conference in terms of number of attendees, space booked, and number of exhibiting companies.
