To achieve the 2030 targets we must scale-up clean energy with Hydrogen Valleys and the European Hydrogen Backbone.

Local hydrogen ecosystems and repurposed infrastructures are solutions for hard-to-abate sectors.

French and Dutch territories will present their initiatives related to hydrogen, both at local and cross-border levels. Speakers will present hydrogen projects they are involved in, including HEAVENN (NL), BIG HIT (SC), GREEN HYSLAND (ES) and LACQ HYDROGEN (FR and ES).

The presentation of the European Hydrogen Backbone will help to shift the focus from a local to a European perspective.

The enthusiasm and dedication of the early group that would become AREG was fundamental in us choosing to launch All-Energy in Aberdeen. The first tiny show was held in 2001, and AREG’s Chairman at the time, Jeremy Cresswell, played such an active role that I often describe him in terms such as All-Energy’s ‘midwife’.
