Floating Offshore Wind Turbine (FOWT) is the world’s largest floating wind conference, happening from 16th to 18th May 2022 in Montpellier, France

The previous edition FOWT 2021 was a hybrid edition which brought together 935 participants from 24 different countries both online and in Saint-Malo (Brittany). This year FOWT will have 2 days of plenary sessions and 1 day dedicated to “FOWT’s academic sessions” and technical visits.

The event offers an international program dedicated to the latest innovations and research in the floating offshore wind sector for each edition. The event is also a unique opportunity for Scottish floating wind companies to meet and network with French and international floating wind players through networking activities and official B2B Meetings.

DeepWind and its counterpart, the WindOcc cluster, have been discussing a partnership model with regards to collaboration opportunities for the development of floating projects in the Mediterranean Sea and in Scotland. The FOWT event will be the opportunity to formalise this cooperation with the signing of an MOU between the two clusters during the event.

Scottish companies are invited to join a celebration of this MoU signing on DAY 2.
