The SPE Aberdeen Section (SPE Aberdeen) and Aberdeen Renewable Energy Group (AREG) proudly bring you the first Scottish Energy Futures Conference on 4-5 March 2025 – focused on deploying the technologies necessary to make the energy transition happen.

We are organising a free special Launch Breakfast at the Net Zero Technology Centre on 13th November to introduce the conference and have invited some guest speakers who will summarise:

  • What is happening today? *Renewable power supply, offshore power grids and platform electrification*
  • What does the future look like ? *Tidal and wave, hydrogen, emerging low carbon technologies, nature based solutions, making hydrogen and using hydrogen*
  • What does 2050 look like and the pathways to get there

The enthusiasm and dedication of the early group that would become AREG was fundamental in us choosing to launch All-Energy in Aberdeen.
