The 1st Offshore Wind Congress organized by AEE will analyze the potential of this technology to position the Spanish industry as an international benchmark.

 In this field, and specifically in floating technology, Spain is a worldwide technological and industrial hub.

In this congress delegates and industry experts will analyze the fundamental role of compliance with the Roadmap for the development of offshore wind and sea energy , approved at the end of 2021, which must be followed by the approval of the maritime space planning, the update of the existing regulation for the development of offshore wind projects and the establishment of an auction calendar for floating offshore wind farms.

The main experts in offshore and floating wind power in the sector will meet at this meeting.

The enthusiasm and dedication of the early group that would become AREG was fundamental in us choosing to launch All-Energy in Aberdeen. The first tiny show was held in 2001, and AREG’s Chairman at the time, Jeremy Cresswell, played such an active role that I often describe him in terms such as All-Energy’s ‘midwife’.
