The recent government announcements of port funding highlight the importance of offshore wind hubs in delivering green jobs, reviving coastal communities, and strengthening the UK supply chain. And as the offshore wind market continues to rapidly grow, there is no shortage of opportunities for UK ports and marine operators.

With the continuing build-out of fixed and floating wind, as well as new operations & maintenance hubs being established, it’s important that the industry comes together to share best practise and collaborate to deliver safe, efficient, and sustainable operations to support future wind farms.

The event will address the big questions around policy support, business incentives, infrastructure, bankability of projects and the route to building a thriving UK hydrogen economy.

The enthusiasm and dedication of the early group that would become AREG was fundamental in us choosing to launch All-Energy in Aberdeen. The first tiny show was held in 2001, and AREG’s Chairman at the time, Jeremy Cresswell, played such an active role that I often describe him in terms such as All-Energy’s ‘midwife’.
