In partnership with the Scottish Government and Scotland Excel, the Supplier Development Programme is hosting a virtual Meet the Buyer event on 15 June 2022.

Aimed at local micro, small and medium sized businesses right across Scotland but open to all, this year’s Meet the Buyer event allows businesses to meet one-to-one with potential customers from local authorities, government bodies and organisations to find out about upcoming contract opportunities, as well as large contractors with supply chain opportunities.

Ivan McKee MSP, Minister for Business, Trade, Tourism & Enterprise is confirmed to deliver a Welcome Address, subject to Parliamentary business.

Businesses can learn from the Heads of Procurement for NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and NHS Lanarkshire about plans to diversify their local supply chains in partnership with the Supplier Development Programme, and ask questions! Together, the two health boards make up 40% of Scotland’s total public sector spend in the health sector.
