OEUK will explore the evolving role of data in the oil and gas industry, and our increasing recognition – starting with CDA’s seminal 2011 ‘Value of Data’ paper – of the importance of extracting the most from our data in making good decisions.
From subsurface to topsides, from seismic to photogrammetry to plant and process information, we will examine how data and the work of data managers have transformed from being a back-room, out of sight activity to being at the core of the modern, lean and efficient energy industry, and a critical capability in tracking, reducing and eliminating carbon emissions offshore.
To celebrate CDA’s contribution to the industry, OEUK is looking forward to celebrate with you on 26 May with an evening drinks reception, networking, celebrity speaker and a trip down the CDA memory lane.
