The British Office in Taipei (BOT) and the Taiwan Institute of Economic Research (TIER) cordially invite you to attend the inaugural UK-Taiwan Hydrogen Forum on 21 October 2021. The Forum will bring together hydrogen and fuel cell industry leaders in the UK and Taiwan to explore possible areas for collaboration, including bilateral and third countries opportunities.

Given the rapid growth of Taiwan’s low carbon energy development, especially offshore wind, and the strength and innovation of its domestic fuel cell industry, which is already a vital part of global hydrogen supply chains, this is an opportune time for the UK and Taiwan to come together and explore closer collaboration on this fuel of the future.

The enthusiasm and dedication of the early group that would become AREG was fundamental in us choosing to launch All-Energy in Aberdeen. The first tiny show was held in 2001, and AREG’s Chairman at the time, Jeremy Cresswell, played such an active role that I often describe him in terms such as All-Energy’s ‘midwife’. Aberdeen City and Shire is emerging as a key location for renewables by successfully transferring its world-class oil and gas expertise into the sector and AREG has done much to advance this through a broad range of initiatives.
