MEMBER NEWS: AGCC bolsters team with four new appointments

Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce has announced the addition of four new staff members to its team. The appointment of these individuals marks a significant step in the Chamber’s commitment to supporting its members and maximising their membership.

Claire Doohan and Jason Stewart are the newest members of the Chamber’s commercial team, joining as Relationship Managers. Claire brings with her extensive experience in guest services, customer requirements, and training, having previously worked at global oil and gas and energy training firms – RelyOn Nutec and Marriott Hotel Group. Jason has over 14 years of experience in the travel and F&B industries, having worked for local and national companies. He is excited to support Chamber members in their growth and development.

The enthusiasm and dedication of the early group that would become AREG was fundamental in us choosing to launch All-Energy in Aberdeen. The first tiny show was held in 2001, and AREG’s Chairman at the time, Jeremy Cresswell, played such an active role that I often describe him in terms such as All-Energy’s ‘midwife’. All-Energy is now the UK’s largest renewable and low carbon energy exhibition and conference in terms of number of attendees, space booked, and number of exhibiting companies.
