AREG NEWS: AREG launches Professional Services Network

AREG is delighted to be launching its Professional Services Network, which will meet virtually for the first time on Thursday, July 14th 2022, 2pm-3pm.

The group will be chaired by Rod Hutchison who is Aberdeen based Legal Director at MacRoberts LLP with over 20 years’ experience as a commercial lawyer and is actively supporting the transition of energy businesses.

The network will meet quarterly and will provide opportunities to hear from guest speakers encouraging  the of sharing information, ideas and best practice relating to a broad range of professional services (including legal, financial, environmental and planning) active within Renewable Energy and Net Zero developments in Scotland and the UK.

The enthusiasm and dedication of the early group that would become AREG was fundamental in us choosing to launch All-Energy in Aberdeen. The first tiny show was held in 2001, and AREG’s Chairman at the time, Jeremy Cresswell, played such an active role that I often describe him in terms such as All-Energy’s ‘midwife’. All-Energy is now the UK’s largest renewable and low carbon energy exhibition and conference in terms of number of attendees, space booked, and number of exhibiting companies.
