International subsea rental equipment and solutions specialist Ashtead Technology has appointed Rich Fry as Group Business Development Manager – Renewables.

The appointment underlines the company’s strategic ambition to accelerate the growth of its capabilities, services and track record in the offshore renewable energy sector to strengthen its market position and support customers globally in the delivery of the energy transition.

The first tiny show was held in 2001, and AREG’s Chairman at the time, Jeremy Cresswell, played such an active role that I often describe him in terms such as All-Energy’s ‘midwife’.
