Verlume, a world leader in subsea power systems, is a finalist in the Company of the Year (Under 50 Employees) category at the upcoming Global Underwater Hub Subsea Expo Awards.
The Aberdeen-headquartered business, currently employing 41 people, uses proprietary intelligent energy management technology to bring together intermittent and renewable power generation with energy storage, to create a full power delivery system with stabilised power output.
Recognising excellence in Verlume’s overall performance, the Company of the Year (Under 50 Employees) category also acknowledges the firm’s international business growth, competitive advantage through intelligent energy management, supply chain commitment, employee development, as well as having strong business policies that benefit the environment, economy and society.
The award ceremony, taking place on 19th February in Aberdeen, is a prestigious annual event that celebrates the achievements of companies and individuals that are leading the way in the UK’s £9.2 billion underwater industry.

Eight awards will be presented at the black-tie event, to which over 550 guests are expected to attend.
Verlume will also be exhibiting at Global Underwater Hub’s Subsea Expo on Stand 73 from 18th – 20th February at P&J Live, Aberdeen.
