Our offering has evolved organically with many purchasing teams asking for contracts to be managed from our Aberdeen HQ and serviced across Europe, either directly or through distribution partners – allowing them to significantly streamline their points of contact with suppliers and create consistencies in product frameworks.
“Kenny has been a key driver in growing our North-Sea operations. This promotion is both a recognition of his contribution to-date as well as a strategic appointment to grow our UK business to cross all energy verticals. With almost 10 years-experience with our Aberdeen customer base under his belt, cumulating to an impressive 28 years industry experience, Kenny is ideally placed to lead our team to leverage the strength of our vertical integration and global distribution network to deliver the high level of customer experience, synonymous with the Red Wing brand.”
With experience in the full PPE process from design, manufacture, sales and distribution, Kenny, an active BSIF safe accredited member, will have a huge focus on growing market share. Kenny said: “This promotion and responsibility change gives me more scope to coach and develop our team to realise our full potential, applying my experience to ensure that at every stage of the journey our customers’ needs are exceeded. It also allows me to create more solidarity in the supply chain and enhance working relationships with external brands that bolster our head-to-toe offering. The last few years has been a year of collaboration and continuous personal development for us. We are excited to build on this.”
In this role, Kenny will manage a 3 strong sales team based in Aberdeen, including Karen Steel who after 6 years of experience in the Customer Experience team recently transitioned over to the sales team, taking on the role of Energy Account Specialist.
