Member News: Motive appoints Jordan Tapscott as America’s Regional Director

Motive is pleased to welcome Jordan Tapscott as Americas Regional Director, a key appointment that reflects the company’s continued investment in the region and commitment to long-term growth.

Jordan joins Motive with more than 14 years of experience in the energy sector. Throughout his career, he has built expertise across subsea engineering, equipment sales, business development, and operational leadership, giving him a well-rounded understanding of the industry and its challenges.

Over the course of his career, Jordan has consistently delivered business growth, secured major contract awards, and built high-performing teams. His experience includes launching new regional operations, developing strategic partnerships with operators and vessel contractors, and expanding business activity across emerging offshore markets throughout the Americas.

In his new role, Jordan will oversee Motive’s operations across the Americas, including Brazil. He will be responsible for supporting regional performance, working closely with operational teams, strengthening client relationships, and ensuring the region remains aligned with Motive’s goals. A key focus will be delivering sustainable growth while building on the strong foundations already established across the business.

Jordan takes over from Jonny Watt, Chief Commercial Officer, who has successfully led the Americas region through significant growth, helping to strengthen Motive’s presence and reputation across the region. His appointment marks an exciting next step for Motive as the company continues to strengthen its position in the energy sector and support its international growth.
