A Scottish teenager has completed a move to Italy’s Serie A in the highest-profile transfer yet delivered through a partnership between law firm Aberdein Considine LLP and football agency DW Football.
Filip Skorb, 18, has joined US Lecce from Celtic’s under-20 squad on a five-year deal. The dual Scottish and Polish youth international, who has been capped by both countries at under-19 level, will begin in the club’s Primavera 1 side, Italy’s top under-20 league, while training with the first team.
The deal marks a milestone in the partnership between Aberdein Considine and FIFA agent and consultant Darren Walker of DW Football, which formed a sports law specialism within the firm in 2023.
Alongside negotiating the transfer to US Lecce, Aberdein Considine has advised Skorb throughout his career, covering employment and contractual matters, as well as supporting his family in securing settled status.
Aberdein Considine represents around 30 professional footballers at clubs across Scotland, England, the League of Ireland and Europe, supporting elite young players aged 16 to 21 on and off the pitch.

Skorb attracted interest from across Europe, including from Austrian club Sturm Graz, before agreeing the move to Lecce, and follows a growing number of Scots now playing in Italy’s top flight.

The move caps a busy period for the partnership, which also completed the transfer of Scotland under-17 goalkeeper Warren Lyall to Celtic, where he is expected to challenge for a place in the first-team squad within the next 12 months. Lyall was on trial with Arsenal earlier this year.
Aberdein Considine’s sports law unit is supported by Katy Sharpe, Senior Solicitor at the firm, who qualified as a Licensed FIFA Football Agent in October 2025, focusing on the Scottish Women’s Premier League and the Women’s Super League in England.
