Aberdeen, UK – Specialist Equipment Solutions (SES) is opening its in-house calibration services to external businesses, providing customers with access to the same trusted expertise and facilities used to maintain its own extensive fleet of specialist equipment. 

Calibration is a critical part of maintaining safe, compliant and efficient operations. Whether managing welding equipment, pressure systems, electrical testing instruments or torque tools, businesses rely on accurate calibration to ensure equipment performance, support quality standards and minimise costly downtime. 

Having successfully calibrated its own equipment for many years, SES has invested in expanding its capabilities to support customers across a wide range of industries. The company’s calibration laboratory now offers services for: 

  • Welding machines up to 600 amps, including:  
  • MIG welders (e.g. Lincoln Powertec i320) 
  • Stick welders (MMA) (e.g. Newarc R5000) 
  • TIG welders (e.g. Newarc Viper 2500S) 
  • Pressure gauges and relief valves (up to 1,200 bar) 
  • Electrical test equipment, including Fluke, Megger and other leading manufacturers 
  • Torque wrenches (3Nm–1,500Nm)
